A 20 hour per week spanish language course with Spanish and Latin American culture. Our study spanish program and methods ensure spanish student participation, beginning with simple structures and advancing steadily towards enabling students to communicate first, in the classroom and later in basic, real-life situations. We encourage students to get a good grip on basic grammatical structures and usage, so they may later continue studying alone. The courses can be combined with Specific Courses.

SPANISH SUPERINTENSIVE COURSE - 30 LESSONS/ WEEK

This program includes the spanish intensive course (4 hours of class per day) plus another 2 hours of conversation and consolidation of what was previously covered in the class. This course is aimed at spanish students who need to advance rapidly in a short space of time. It is recognized in various German regions as a "Bildungsurlaub" training permission/license.

EDUCATIONAL LEAVE IN SPAIN top

All our spanish language courses (in Conil as well as in Seville, O’Grove and Latin America) are officially recognised on the ‘Bildungsurlaub’ programme.

On this spanish course there are six hours of class per day. Accommodation, classes and the excursions are the same as described on the general course.

If your company disposes of the ‘Bildungsurlaub’ option, you can enjoy your two weeks stay at the price of one or enjoy an extra week’s holiday at another time but, you must look after the paperwork with your company in the current year.

SPANISH PREPARATION FOR SECONDARY SCHOOL top

Having collaborated with Secondary Schools and their teachers in Germany, we can provide for your needs if you have taken on spanish as a second language. We are here to help you prepare both your oral and written exams on our intensive course which will provide you with an extra two hours of class every day specifically covering contents relating to the exam.

There are two options available for accommodation for students. They can choose to stay with a Spanish family or share an apartment with other students.

You will also be able to attend a local school and get a chance to meet people your own age from Conil and compare experiences as well as putting all you know into practice and picking up a lot of new information.

SPANISH COURSE FOR TEENAGERS top

Conil is the ideal place for young people. Students learn so much while they enjoy our summer lifestyle, the ideal climate, the beach and beautiful surroundings, making it an unforgettable experience.

The spanish language courses are for 16 to 18 year olds who would like to combine holidays with spanish learning. The teaching methods are the same as on the intensive course. During the course we organize a spanish program of activities and excursions: beach volley-ball, tours including a little local history, parties, `tapas´outings and much more. There is a monitor with the students at all times.

The accommodation is exclusively with carefully selected, spanish host families, who provide half board ore share an appartement with other students. The price also includes all activities and excursions.

SPANISH COURSES FOR FAMILIES IN CONIL top

Conil is an ideal location for a family holiday. Its beaches and wonderful village have so much to offer for all ages, children/young people and parents alike. Our programme incorporates the following offer. Whilst the pre-schoolers are kept busy and entertained at a local nursery, the parents can enjoy a quiet few hours to participate in an Intensive Spanish Course. Older kids also have the option of taking a Spanish Course suitable for their age/level.

Children tend to learn quickly and with relative ease, acquiring their language skills through singing, dancing and playing games.

For kids between the ages of 10-15, we offer a Course for Young People. This course is designed for students who already have some knowledge of the language. The main objective is to develop communication skills, but running alongside this will be references to basic grammar skills.

The whole family can participate in our Leisure and Cultural Programme, which has plenty of scope for the children to entertain and enjoy themselves. Such events include parties, sports activities and excursions.

We will find you an attractive fully-equipped apartment to suit your needs. There is also the option for young people over 15 to lodge with a local Spanish family.

This course is for qualified teachers who are non-native Spanish speakers. Using specific modules, participants develop the four basic communication skills. Due to our experience we can help teachers find new approaches and ideas for teaching Spanish as well as adapting material to specific needs. The various methods can later be applied by the participant to carry out their own linguistic objectives. Many aspects of Spanish and Latin American culture, traditions and literature are introduced, developed and discussed thoroughly with our professionals.

These spanish courses include the intensive course (4 hours class per day) plus two hour more in `minigroups´, covering specific vocabulary, simple business situations and paperwork, combined with reading business press and articles. It is valid preparation for the 'Certificado de Negocios´ granted by the Spanish Chamber of Commerce and recognized worldwide. "Certificado Básico y Superior de Español de Los Negocios".

PREPARATION D.E.L.E top

(Diplomas de Español como Lengua Extranjera) top

The D.E.L.E (Diplomas de Español como Lengua Extranjera) is an official qualification recognized all over the world, and supervised by the 'Instituto Cervantes'. It shows the students grade of competency and command of the language.

There are three grades of DELE available: Beginners, Intermediate and Superior. The preparatory courses are available before the exams, in May and November and consist of the intensive course plus another two hours of class daily in mini groups.

Inscription

The D.E.L.E examinations are held at centers specifically designated by the "Instituto Cervantes". The examination centres closest to us are at the Universities in Cadiz and Seville. We help our students with the official paperwork. The time limit for inscription is usually a month before the exams.

MASTER CLASS + 60 top

This course has been created specifically for people over 50 who wish to take advantage of their free time. The program combines a practical, basic language course with social activities and visits to local places of historical and cultural interest. Our objective is to improve the participants skills so they can communicate in Spanish in every-day situations.The classes are based on useful situations such as asking for directions, ordering something in a bar or restaurant, shopping at the market and speaking about general aspects of Spanish culture and social life. The course includes classes, excursions and activities embracing all Andalusia has to offer. A teacher will accompany the students on all the organized outings and will help participants put into practice the material previously covered in the classroom.

SPANISH FOR TOURISM top

As spanish specialist we offer also a spanish course for professional purposes.

In the course “Spanish for Tourism” you will learn the important spanish terms for the use in the tourist industry (hotels, travel agencies, restaurants).

You can use this course to prepare for the Madrid Chamber of Commerce examinations.
If you are interested you should know the spanish language at an intermediate level, or at least with a lower intermediate level (equivalent to about 80 hour lessons).
If you think your level is lower than this, please contact us and we will give you personal advice. If you are an absolute beginner, we recommend you to take a General Spanish course before taking Spanish for Tourism.

MEDICAL SPANISH top

As spanish specialists we can also offer spanish courses for professional purposes. On our course “Medical Spanish” you will be developing your verbal skills to enable you to communicate better with spanish-speaking patients. Our teachers place a lot of emphasis on specific Spanish medical terms, structures and general health care issues which are used on a daily basis.
You will also learn the spanish terminology for anatomy and symptoms, names of diseases, diagnoses, tests and treatments.

Our well-prepared staff will teach you how to read spanish medical press and extract the relevant information and terminology. Our school will organise visits to a local hospital which will help you to widen your newly learned spanish skills. You will have the possibility to hear spanish from medical personnel first hand.
